Kelly Abbott

Kelly Abbott

Founder & Lead Instructor

Kelly Abbott is the founder of LearnClaudeNow, former Chief AI Officer at BOL Agency and current Head of AI at Acquisition.com. A two-time exit founder with roots at Match.com and Adobe, Kelly now helps organizations stop talking about AI and start operating with it.

Through his consulting firm K-State LLC, Kelly has spent the last two years building AI-native systems for law firms, marketing agencies, and regulated enterprise teams. He’s the creator of LearnClaudeNow and the lead architect of the curriculum behind the “Claude for Law Firms” cohort-based trainings, a 16-week, hands-on program that teaches legal teams how to build, train, and manage virtual interns inside Claude.

Kelly’s approach is simple: this isn’t prompt engineering. It’s agent-building. His students don’t leave with a list of tricks. They leave with working agents, documented workflows, and a team that knows how to extend the system without him.

Ohio State alum. SOC-2 and HIPAA trained. Lives in Washougal, WA with his family. Loves writing stories and making electronic music in his spare time.

Bilal Ur Rehman

Bilal Ur Rehman

Head of Engineering

Bilal Ur Rehman is the engineer behind every working part of LearnClaudeNow: the site, the automations, the agent infrastructure, and the behind-the-scenes plumbing that keeps client engagements humming.

A full-stack engineer with a background in high-end consulting work, Bilal specializes in turning strategy decks into production systems. He led engineering on Tablecloth at Mavric, and is currently lead engineer at Wise Pelican, where he owns infrastructure and application-architecture decisions and leads a team of developers. With a decade of engineering experience, he makes sure there are no hiccups along the way.

At LearnClaudeNow, he leads development across three surfaces: the client-facing marketing engine, the internal business operations stack (support, billing, reporting), and the content and creative production pipeline that powers the training cohorts.

Bilal works the way good engineers do: fast, quiet, and without drama. When a problem shows up, the fix shows up shortly after. He partners daily with Kelly on architecture and direction, and he’s the reason law firms enrolling in our cohorts get a platform that feels less like a course portal and more like a tool they actually want to use.

Based in Pakistan. Builds on Cloudflare, Astro, and Next. Keeps the trains on time.

Lee Stonum

Head of Client Partnerships

Lee Stonum leads sales, enrollment, and client experience at LearnClaudeNow. If you’re considering a cohort for your firm, Lee is the human you’ll meet first. He’s also the one who’ll make sure the program actually fits what your team needs.

Lee brings a rare combination to this work: the instincts of a persuasive writer and a practitioner’s eye for how legal teams actually operate. He shapes the way we describe what we do, writes the materials that help firms understand whether the program is right for them, and runs the discovery conversations that turn interest into a well-matched engagement. Cohorts are capped at 20 seats for a reason, and Lee is the reason those seats go to the right firms.

During his 2+ decades in practice, Lee has worked in the big-law halls of Gibson Dunn, in the large government office of the Orange County Public Defender, and as a solo practitioner. During his undergraduate studies at the NYU Stern School of Business, Lee developed a focus on organizational management and structures and has continued to apply that interest at each of the law firms he has practiced in.

He works closely with Kelly on program design and with Bilal on the platform itself, so by the time a firm signs on, the person who sold them the cohort is also the person helping make sure it lands.
